Every time you enter a new sales pitch, you start thinking about a purchase or preparing to negotiate, stop and think about the terms you will accept and what you would give too much. Write this down now. You want to record what you think is right – and what you don`t think – before the heat of the moment overflows. When you do that, you know when things go too far and when they become unfair. Many studies have shown that people are actually very clever. Ignoring the warning signs and these feelings won`t help you in the long run. Believe in your intuition. If you see the wrong things and the sales process isn`t progressing, pull out and start over with a new lead. It`s normal to leave. It`s just a business, after all.
